makeup artists/hairstylists:

You should arrive at your photoshoot with your hair, makeup and nails mostly completed. If you want a MUA/stylist on site, they can be scheduled for an average of $75/ look. Sessions are not counted to the exact minute. Rather, I aim to get you the best images within a reasonable approximation of the time that you've booked. That includes some time between sets to alter your hair and makeup, if desired.

session lengths:

Headshot sessions held in one location with 2-3 quick wardrobe changes...usually tops...can often be done within an hour or so. Longer session times need to be booked according to other factors like additional or more extensive wardrobe changes, shooting both indoors and out, more significant makeup and hair changes during the shoot time, and on occasion, more detailed and dramatic lighting changes/setup. Even the most varied of headshot sessions of 4-5 changes can usually be successfully completed within 2 hours unless travel time is involved.

my studio settings:

I'm the only one living in my 4BR suburban home. Since portrait photography is my full-time career, I've arranged and decorated my house to be suitable for photos in virtually all areas. I have 2 studios with dedicated backgrounds, 8 studio strobes with light modifiers of all kinds, plus "home-like" settings for images that aren't suitable for a simple cloth background. I've also got a backyard with privacy that is facing a large pond. My neighborhood of South Riding has appropriately pleasant places for architectural portrait settings.

I like my photos and I'd like to have all of them:

Well, you can! You can purchase a CD of all of your session images, no matter how long your photosession, for $75. They can also be made available for digital download from a password- protected website.

Professional prints can either be bought directly from the site where your online gallery will be located (shotzcreatives.com) or  made anywhere you choose from your edited images or your CD (if you purchased all of your session images).
